At 18 months old, Brantley continues to show the world that he is stronger than any obstacle placed in his path. Now he's reaching new milestones--sitting up on his own without prop support and even beginning to stand with the help of steady hands or a solid surface.

But beyond his physical achievements, Brantley's spirit shines just as brightly. His smile is the kind that takes over his whole face, lighting up every room he enters. And if you think you can sit still for too long, think again--he's mastered the art of chasing us around the house in his walker, giggling the whole way. Ankles are unsafe around here. His energy, joy and determination remind us daily that he is writing his own story, one that is filled with perseverance, laughter and love.
